Checking In!

Greetings, all.

Sorry, I don’t have any new chapters for you at the moment. I know it’s been a while since I last updated, but this time I have a good reason. As many of you know, I have been hosting a True Blood/Southern Vampire Mysteries Exchange. It’s been hard work, but very rewarding. If you haven’t checked it out yet, head over to SVM/TB Fic ExchangeΒ and see who wrote what.

I have started the next chapters of Veiled Blood, The Road Not Taken, and Ride the Lightning, so hopefully I’ll have something to you soon. I also wrote a story for the exchange, so I’ll be posting that soon as well. I have also started another Veil Verse story, Living Ain’t Killed Me Yet. I have a couple of chapters of that already written, but I’m waiting until I have more before posting. You can check out the banner and summary for that verse HERE.

I am also thinking of turning the exchange site into a prompt/challenge site that we run all year round. I’m still thinking about that though.

Nice to finally hear from you πŸ™‚ Very missed your stories πŸ™‚ But say is it possible to even hhope that you will update some of your stories until weekenday? To tell you the truth I’m feeling bit depresed right now and some of lemons will do a good thing to poor soul who is stuck without inspiration while writing final Bachelor essay

Welcome back. Though I have follow up the exchange and I have enjoyed very much. I can of miss as well the updates of your stories. πŸ™‚

note: I think the prompt idea is good, though I would keep the exchange going as well. I might want to participate next time, though the writers on this fandom are quite talented and the idea is intimidating. Good job by the way. πŸ™‚

I would keep the exchange going. That would be a yearly event. I thought the prompt idea could be a good way for writers and non writers to offer up ideas for stories they couldn’t write themselves. Adopt the bunny type of thing. Plus regular themed challenges. It’d keep interest in the fandom going.

Thanks again for hosting the exchange. It was a lot of fun. Reading the number of stories you’re juggling makes my head spin! You must be exhausted! Bet you’re happy to be getting back to like as usual

The woman on your banner reminds me of Billie Piper (Rose Tyler, Dr. Who companion).
I’m all for having the site year round with challenges, etc. and I’ll certainly enter as many as I feel comfortable with since challenges and exchanges are about the only things which brings my muse back to me lately *sigh*.
I can’t wait for the next exchange though; that was a lot of fun and the story I wrote was more well received than usual :).

They’re always peeled for news & info for the SVM/TB fandom :). Gotta update Minions somehow, lol.
I don’t think I’ve met anybody who DIDN’T at least like Rose. She and Amy Pond were my favs by far, lol. Although I will admit I haven’t watched all of the recent incarnation & companion (Clara) but she was growing on me the last time I watched. Apparently she’s confirmed that she’s leaving the show.

Thank you so much for all your hard work on the writing exchange. I’ve enjoyed it so much. Maybe it will inspire some more new stories or chase away some people writers block!
I’m also looking forward to your updates when you can get them out.

This exchange was great! I’ve never worked with a prompt from someone else and it was a new challenge I totally enjoyed. Supurb stories by all and I met some new writers (to me). Now, to get back in the writing zone and complete my little story. πŸ™‚
